This unique piece had a previous life in France.

The story: the appearance of the horseshoe in the repertoire of lucky charms dates back to the tenth century Western Europe. From England to Ireland, legend associates Saint Dunstan, the patron saint of blacksmiths and goldsmiths, with the tradition of hanging a horseshoe at the entrance of houses to give them spiritual protection. Since then, there has been a heated debate about the direction in which the horseshoe should be worn or hung: some consider that it should be in a “U” shape to keep the luck inside; Others believe that it should be hung upside down, so that luck falls on you when passing underneath. At ÓNÍSÌ PARIS, we are in favor of the first interpretation, hence the choice of this creation, but it is only a matter of taste!
