Description

This first transformation signed ÓNÍSÌ PARIS (or TransfÓ) is an antique brooch converted into a necklace. A superb work from the Napoleon III era where gold is crafted in volutes and set with half pearls and rose-cut diamonds. An exceptionnal and twice as unique piece where the fold catches the light (en the eye!) unlinke anything else. A true showstopper.

  • Length of the pendant: 5.2 cm
  • Chain length: 45 cm
  • Weight: 7.35 g

This unique piece had a previous life in France.

The story: The Antique jewelry from the Napoleon III era was the creations of French master jewelers working between the 1850s and 1870s. These jewels are distinguished by the use of certain precious materials such as rose gold and diamonds set on silver. They were also influenced by the tastes of Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III who was particularly fond of pearls. This is how we find many fine pearls of various shapes (round, drop) on many jewels of the period, as is the case on this necklace created from a period brooch.
