The story: Art Deco jewelry is easily recognized by its geometric and perfectly symmetrical shapes. Here, the “target” design lends itself perfectly to this harmony that creates a perfect balance between the diamond halo, the mother-of-pearl rim and the central ruby, forming concentric circles. Although white metals were favored by jewelers during the Art Deco movement, yellow gold was not totally forgotten, as shown by this piece. The warmth of the yellow gold reinforces the contrast with the white of the diamonds and of the mother-of-pearl.
