This unique piece has lived a previous life in France.

The Story: In the 1940s and 1950s, jewelers’ creativity in transforming gold according to their imagination often leaned toward reproducing popular motifs from other fields. Tank rings inspired by wartime tanks, fluted rings echoing the oviform patterns popular in architecture, and articulated chain motifs solidified in gold were all the rage. This ring is a perfect example, with its gold band reproducing the links of a chain in a rigid form.
