The story: Mabé pearls occupy a singular place in the pearl world thanks to their delicately organically spherical shape. Born against the oyster wall, the pearls are made of mother-of-pearl that slowly develops into thin iridescent layers, revealing a soft, aquatic glow oscillating between satin white, delicate pink and opalescent cream. Appreciated from Japan at the end of the nineteenth century to contemporary jewelry, they are associated with femininity, softness and intuition. Symbols of protection and serenity, mabe pearls still embody the timeless charm of the sea today: luminous half-moons with poetic and naturally refined beauty.
