The Story: A timeless symbol of wealth and power, the gold bar has its origins in ancient times, when early civilizations fashioned gold into units of weight for trade and prestige. However, it was from the Middle Ages, and then under the great European kingdoms, that ingots took on standardized forms, kept in the vaults of states and large banks. Today, the 1-gram gold bar, though tiny, embodies that same tradition of concentrated value. Refined with precision, often sealed in a numbered blister, it combines modern accessibility with a thousand-year-old heritage. A precious gift, a collector’s item or the beginning of a heritage, it reflects the discreet elegance of gold in its purest form.
