The story: Diamonds help us define the era of antique jewelry, as their size has evolved over time. From the handcrafted rose-cut diamonds of the sixteenth century to the ancient cut diamonds of the nineteenth century to the modern 57-facet brilliant-cut diamond, laser-cut for optimal light reflection, the diamond can betray the age of the jewels.
