Description
This new TransfÓ or transformation signed ÓNÍSÌ PARIS is an antique tie pin from the nineteenth century in 18 carat gold set with a sublime old cut diamond of 0.05 carats, VVSI clarity and F color (i.e. colorless). Mounted in a prong setting on a delicately chiseled 18-carat white gold bezel, this sparkling diamond is contrasted by a yellow gold ring worked in a rope pattern. A piece that combines the timelessness of the solitaire with the characteristic work of the nineteenth century, to be worn alone on a thin chain to give pride of place to the fire of the diamond. Sold without chain.

Width: 0.9cm
Weight: 1.11g

The story: Diamonds help us define the era of antique jewelry, as their size has evolved over time. From the handcrafted rose-cut diamonds of the sixteenth century to the ancient cut diamonds of the nineteenth century to the modern 57-facet brilliant-cut diamond, laser-cut for optimal light reflection, the diamond can betray the age of the jewels.
