The story : Alexandrite, a rare and highly prized gemstone, is named after Tsar Alexander II of Russia, where it was first discovered in the Ural Mountains in the 1830s. Belonging to the chrysoberyl family, it is renowned for its extraordinary pleochroism, displaying different colors depending on the angle of view, ranging from purple to red and sometimes green. The mineral composition of alexandrite includes both chromium and beryllium, a rare combination in nature that contributes to its unique color-changing properties. Symbolically, alexandrite represents balance, creativity, and self-confidence, often associated with joy and good fortune.
