The story
: belonging to the same family as amethyst, citrine is characterized by its sunshine yellow color. It symbolizes abundance and fertility but also self-confidence. Cocktail rings are typical of the 40s and come straight from the prohibition era in the United States. They were then worn by the Flappers Girls who asserted their rebellious attitude by frequenting speakasies and wearing colorful and imposing rings while drinking their cocktail. Far from the codes of discreet engagement rings adorned with diamonds or pearls, coktail rings were as flamboyant as their owners.
