The story: Emblematic of the nineteenth century, young girl’s rings mark the first pieces of jewelry offered to a young woman, often on the occasion of her coming of age or a significant event in her youth. They are distinguished by their finesse, delicate lines and feminine designs: ribbons, arabesques, flowers or birthstones. Made of gold, often openworked, sometimes set with small pearls or precious stones, these rings embodied both family tenderness and the entry into adulthood. Precious witnesses of an art of living and refined know-how, they are now sought after for their discreet elegance and sentimental charm.
