The story: Classified as one of the 4 stones commonly described as “precious” (diamond, ruby, sapphire and emerald), the emerald has been prized since ancient times for its beauty and its verdant color. It takes its name from the Greek word for green, “smaragdus”. The inclusions of the stone are called “emerald gardens”, the first guarantee of authenticity and specific to each stone. The birthstone of the May Month, it symbolizes, among other things, fertility and rebirth. A good omen for people born in May and all lovers of the green gem who will wear it.1 ring with low-title gold setting
