Description

Sublime ring of the nineteenth century (Bonaparte era) in 18 carat gold in the style of Toi et Moi. Formed by two rings joining together to form a single one, it centers two fine pearls in a bezel setting, each underlined by a line in a rope pattern and an additional foliage pattern for one of the two pearls. A delicate piece where the contrast of yellow gold sublimates the whiteness of the pearl.

The story: Characterized by two identical or similar motifs (often precious stones) facing each other, the first famous Toi et Moi ring was the one given by Napoleon Bonaparte to Joséphine de Beauharnais in engagement.
