This unique piece has had a recent life in Egypt.

The Story: The discovery of the Goldstone Stone dates back to the 17th century and was the result of a chance discovery. Indeed, a glassmaker from Murano spilled copper filings into molten glass and a new crystal appeared after a slow cooling. A new stone with a beautiful glittery appearance was born. Originally named Aventurine Glass (meaning “obtained by accident”), this stone is better known nowadays as “Goldstone” or gold stone. Aptly nicknamed the “Stone of Happiness” in its red-brown version and “Star Stone” in its midnight blue variant, the Goldstone stone is an incomparable source of joy and vitality. It is thus a perfect combination with the sacred beetle, which has been an Egyptian lucky charm since ancient times.
