The Story: Throughout cultures and eras, butterflies have symbolized transformation, the lightness of the soul and the ephemeral beauty of life, inviting us to fully appreciate it. In ancient Greece, they were associated with Psyche, the personification of the soul, emphasizing their deep connection to rebirth and immortality. In Native American cultures, the butterfly was a messenger of joy and a spiritual guide, bringing positive change. In Japan, it represents feminine grace and metamorphosis, while in the Christian tradition it embodies the hope of the resurrection. In jewelry, its delicate silhouette has long inspired craftsmen, capturing in metal and stone the fleeting magic of life.
