This piece had a previous life in France.
The story: In the 1970s and 1980s, geometric shapes experienced a real boom in jewelry, symbolizing both modernity and refined elegance. Square or rectangular creations, often embellished with small diamonds or white sapphires, reflected the structured and refined aesthetic of the time. The closely spaced prong setting, used here, brings more definition and sparkle to the stones, held individually, while creating the illusion of continuous paving. This subtle technique offers both exceptional brilliance and visual lightness, highlighting the precision of the jewelry work and the purity of the stones.
