The Story: 18-carat gold is characterized by the presence of 750 grams of gold for every 1000 grams of precious metal. It is then the metals that complete this alloy that will have an impact on the color of the gold: silver and palladium as well as a rhodium finish for white gold, a predominance of copper and a tiny part of silver for rose gold.
