Description
Sublime ring of the nineteenth century (Bonaparte era) in 18 carat gold in marquise style. Formed by a row of thin half-pearls encircled in gold worked in gold beads in the center of a chiseled pattern in the shape of a shuttle revealing the skin. This motif, centred on a thin ring punctuated by two half-pearls, forms a very light piece where the contrast of yellow gold sublimates the whiteness of the pearl.

The story: Elegant and elongated, the marquise ring is distinguished by its stone with tapered ends, whose silhouette evokes a delicate smile. According to tradition, this shape was inspired by the smile of the Marquise de Pompadour, a favorite of King Louis XV, who wanted a stone in her image: graceful, refined and unforgettable. Since the eighteenth century, the marquise cut has stood the test of time with audacity and sophistication. It seduces with its regal look and its ability to sublimate the hand with elegance. Even today, the marquise ring remains a singular and assertive choice, a symbol of character, distinction and a love that is unlike any other.
