The shoulders delicately sculpted with foliage motifs refiningly emphasize the brilliance of the central stone, while the airy setting brings lightness and elegance to the whole. An exquisite piece with timeless charm, whose white and gold tones make it a classic of great distinction.

This unique piece had a previous life in Belgium.

The story: Born in the 1940s, the Retro style flourished in the aftermath of the Second World War, at a time when jewelry was rediscovering its taste for generous volumes and sculptural lines. Designers then favored airy frames with elaborate shoulders, often inspired by nature, where leaves and volutes bring movement and elegance. The stones, which are deliberately imposing, are highlighted by high settings that let in light in all facets. Both refined and expressive, these creations embody the renewal of an era focused on optimism, while retaining the craftsmanship and timeless elegance of high jewelry.
