This unique piece had a previous life in France.
The story: the so-called “Bonaparte” period jewelry is jewelry from the end of the nineteenth century characterized by the recurrence of certain distinctive motifs: yellow and pink gold, the chiseling of gold in scrolls or arabesques, the engraving of plant motifs and fine pearls. Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III, was particularly fond of them and they can be found in many pieces of jewelry of the time, including pendants, medallions, rings and sleeper earrings.
