Description

This sublime 19th century Toi et Moi ring in 18-carat gold features two trilogy motifs reminiscent of a clover: one set with 3 natural half-pearls, the other with 3 Verneuil rubies of 0.05 carats. Closed in yellow gold, these two motifs face each other on an arabesque band highlighted on either side by a vegetal line in white gold set with a rose-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.02 carats, A sophisticated piece that sublimates the brilliance of the diamond, the soft light of the pearl and the vibrance of the ruby for a most striking contrast.
Size: FR 51 / UK L / US 5.75

This unique piece had a previous life in France.
The story: the first famous You and Me ring was the one given by Napoleon Bonaparte to Joséphine de Beauharnais in engagement. Since then, this ring design has been a classic engagement ring, symbolizing the two hearts ready to unite forever. Depending on the stones that are associated with each other, the symbolism of the ring can be personalized: here, the pearl symbol of beauty and wisdom, unites with the ruby, symbol of passion and ardent love. They are also the birthstones of June (pearl) and July (rubies).
