The story: At the end of the nineteenth century and during the Belle Époque, the hatpin became an essential accessory of feminine elegance. Initially designed to hold in place the wide hats then in vogue, it quickly evolved into a real object of adornment and personal expression. Floral motifs occupy a special place, testifying to the craze of the time for nature, the language of flowers and symbols of renewal and beauty. Reflecting the refinement and social status of the woman who wears it, the hatpin accompanies the great aesthetic movements of its time, from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. This old flower-shaped hatpin now transformed into a pendant begins a new life while preserving the romantic charm and poetry of the pattern that made it so successful more than a century ago.
