The story: The art of ceramics is rooted in the local traditions of Maghreb countries. This ancestral art has been rooted in the region since the Moors more than 1000 years ago, who installed the first pottery kilns in Fez, Meknes, Safi and Marrakech. Depending on the region and city, ceramics are distinguished by signs specific to each. For example, urban ceramics result in diverse and varied patterns and many glazed colors, as opposed to rural ceramics, which are more raw and sober. “Dyhia” is the incomparable union of a North African jewelry know-how and its ancestral art of ceramics.
