Description

Sublime American half-wedding band from the 70s in 18-carat white gold composed of a succession of 12 diamonds of 0.01 carats, with VVSI1 clarity and H color. An elegant piece that gives center stage to the lights of these diamonds, like a sparkling line adorning the ring finger.
Size FR 54 / UK O / US 7
Weight: 2.46g
This one-of-a-kind piece had a previous life in Italy.

The story: The name “American wedding ring”, which corresponds to a wedding ring set with diamonds, probably comes from the jeweler de Beers. Although he is South African, he popularized the wearing of diamond wedding rings and engagement rings in the United States in the 1940s, notably with the slogan “A diamond is forever”. However, the first diamond wedding rings appeared in Europe as early as the Middle Ages.
