The story: Throughout history, jade has been closely linked to mythical tales and spirituality, symbolizing not only material wealth, but also spiritual enlightenment.  Jade was of immense importance in Chinese imperial courts. It was considered the “imperial gem” and reserved for the use of royalty and high officials. Jade objects were used at royal burials to ensure the protection of the deceased and their spiritual orientation in the afterlife. Revered in cultures ranging from East Asia to Central America, jade continues to be a symbol of enduring elegance and deep meaning, a true gem of the earth that transcends time and borders.
