This unique piece had a previous life in France.

The Story: In the 19th century, most women owned a small pair of earrings called sleepers because they could be worn to bed without risk of damage. This pair features the aesthetic of the sleeper style but features a clamshell clasp that closes at the back of the ear and not at the front, as is typically the case with sleepers.
