Description
This new TransfÓ or transformation signed ÓNÍSÌ PARIS is an antique tie pin from the nineteenth century transformed into an 18-carat gold pendant featuring a 1 carat white oval opal cabochon surrounded by 4 rose-cut diamonds of approximately 0.05 carats. Opal presents a sublime constellation of green, pink, blue and golden sparkles, highlighted by the sparkle of diamonds. The invisible bail gives pride of place to the pendant, which can slide on a chain as if it were floating around the neck. A unique piece with stunning charm.

The story: Among the most fascinating and mysterious gems, opal holds a special place. Known since ancient times, it was already admired by the Romans, who considered it a symbol of hope and purity, while the Greeks attributed it the power of clairvoyance. Its name comes from the Sanskrit upala, meaning “precious stone”. But it is in Australia, now the world’s main deposit, that opal reveals all its magic: an infinite palette of colors, iridescent and moving, as if captured in the light. Long surrounded by legends, sometimes a lucky charm, sometimes a bewitching stone, it is now associated with creativity, intuition and self-expression.
