Description

Sublime Belle Epoque ring at the end of the 19th century in 18-carat yellow gold set with a sublime oval-cut pink tourmaline of 0.5 carats in a bezel setting in white gold in an entourage of 5 rose-cut diamonds of approximately 0.01 carat. The openworked bezel is supported by two 0.01-carat rose-cut diamonds, forming an elegant and feminine piece, where the orange-pink color of the tourmaline contrasts nicely with the whiteness of the diamonds and with the warmth of the yellow gold of its band.

The story: Belonging to the tourmaline family and more precisely to the elbaite group, pink tourmaline seduces with its soft and luminous shades. Its name comes from the Sinhalese word turmali, meaning “stone of a thousand colors”. Appreciated since the eighteenth century in Europe, it is now associated with love, tenderness and emotional healing. Stone of the month of October alongside opal, it would embody the opening of the heart and self-acceptance, helping to soothe emotional wounds and nourish sincere relationships.
