Description

Sublime 18-carat gold ring from the 70s featuring a succession of brilliant-cut gemstones of approximately 0.05 carats: a sapphire, a ruby and an emerald follow one another in the center of the ring while its band is highlighted by two white gold curves and a 0,01 carat brilliant-cut diamond on each side. An elegant and joyful piece, where the contrast of yellow and white gold sublimates its three precious stones.

The story: Although not tied to a particular era, tutti frutti style jewelry pieces gained popularity from the mid-twentieth century onwards and are characterized by a mixture of at least three different colored gemstones for a harmonious and cheerful multicolored effect. The most common distinction is made between tutti frutti with bright primary colors and often featuring the traditional gemstones (ruby red, sapphire blue, emerald green) and pastel tutti fruttis, made up of light-colored gemstones such as aquamarine, amethyst and citrine.
