This unique piece had a previous life in France.

The story: With the depth of its celestial blue, sapphire has always been associated with wisdom and truth. In ancient times, it was believed that its color reflected the celestial vault and that it favored clarity of mind. In the East, sapphire was often seen as a stone of protection, worn to ward off evil and strengthen loyalty. Among the Christians of the Middle Ages, it symbolized purity and faith, and frequently adorned the rings of bishops and rulers. The birthstone of the month of September, this deep blue gem also represents fidelity and celebrates forty-five years of marriage.
