The story: The “You and Me” ring is a ring formed of two precious stones, facing each other or nestled against each other. It represents the connection and unity between the two people in a couple. The most famous in history was the one offered by Napoleon I for engagement to his first wife, Joséphine de Beauharnais. The ring was adorned with a pear-cut blue diamond and sapphire on a rose gold ring. The two precious stones, reflecting eternity (diamond) and loyalty (sapphire) also symbolized the duality of the couple.
