Sublime ring from the Art Deco era in 18 carat gold set with 5 calibrated princess-cut sapphires of approximately 0.1 carat each. The yellow gold gord band centers a white gold line set with two 0.01-carat brilliant-cut diamonds on either side, for the most sparkling effect. This unique piece had a previous life in France.

The Story: Taking its name from the 1925 World’s Fair titled “International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts,” the Art Deco movement is characterized by its geometric designs reminiscent of industry (no screws, nuts, gears). The period is also characterized by the use of colored stones and materials as well as opulent gilding, especially in architecture. While white metals found favour with the jewellers of the time, yellow gold did not disappear completely and continued to exalt the imagination of goldsmiths, as shown by this incredible ring.
